Many people are thrown off by the seemingly complicated rules and strict structure of traditional Feng Shui. Denise Linn's approach is gentler and much more holistic...she uses the rules of Feng Shui in a more natural manner. She also combines Native American and other indigenous cultures practices in her methods. The idea is to make the home feed the soul as best it can...not necessarily to follow each rule to the nth degree.
This is an excellent book on making your house a HOME, one that nurtures and supports your body, mind and spirit.

Feng Shui can get complicated, many things to learn: elements, maps, etc. But the bottom line is to follow our on compass, that the main point of the book. Yes, Denise provides lot of helpful information, and above all remind us to create an enviroment that resonates with our soul and beliefs.

If you feng shui your home Denise Linn's books are a must have. It will take feng shui beyond just the physical and explain how to work with the energies to bring about a sacredness and the change you seek through feng shui. I highly recommend this and any of her books on Feng Shui.
